I own a border collie bitch that I compete regularly in obedience. She recently dislocated her hip whilst out walking. After two operations and nearly two months she was still very lame. Two weeks ago I put her on Cortaflex after seeing the effects it has on the event horses I look after. She is now 100% sound and has been allowed off her lead - something which we thought she would never be able to do.
